Steven Ogden, M.D., is a Fort Worth, Texas, native. He graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in Norman with a degree in microbiology before going on to receive his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He is fellowship-trained in adult joint reconstruction from the Texas Hip and Knee Center and board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Odgen’s areas of special focus include robotic-assisted joint-replacement surgery, reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee, and total hip and knee joint replacement. He has had extensive training in robotic-assisted joint-replacement surgery and was one of the early participants to bring the new technology to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals in the field of orthopedic and reconstructive surgery, and he has presented on topics ranging from femoral revision to tibial implants.
Dr. Ogden joined Texas Hip and Knee Center in 2008. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons and Texas Orthopedic Association.
